    Comments

    Susan K. Stewart

I've been reading (not studying) the Daily Bible in Chronological and learning. I have especially appreciated the Psalms being inserted where they may have written. I look forward to the Chronological Study Bible.

    Colleen Coble

It makes perfect sense to put the Psalms where you understand them. I can't wait to read this!

    Maurilio Amorim

    Wayne,
Thank you for the explanation. Be aware that some critics are not interested in the answer as much as they are interested in having a platform to showcase their "righteous indignation."

    Linda Winn

You are right. Understanding the Bible is much easier when read in chronological order. I like my One Year Chronological Bible so much that I have bought it as a gift for people who struggle with understanding God's story in traditional Bibles. I look forward to the Nelson version.

    David Ker

    Good work, Wayne.

Thanks for the link and the heads up, James. This chronological Bible is indeed worth looking into. I'm especially interested in the division of the Psalter.

    tc robinson

Correction: should be Wayne, not James. What was I thinking?

    Nathan Stitt

I am very interested in this Bible. My only hangup is with the translation. Can anyone tell me if there is a planned release of this edition in a more up to date translation such as the NRSV? The NKJV is pretty much the only translation that I won't use. I'll have a look at it in the bookstore regardless and perhaps I can get past my issues.

    Aaron C. Rathburn

Umm, I am all for the chronological Bible, I even own one. However- I do not think I would go as far as you do in your concluding paragraph. It appears as though you guys are suggesting this is a legitimate Bible alternative, rather than a supplement. I think this is one step too far.

    Dear Sir;

I feel like to join for your ministry

    Thanks
    Sincerely,

    Wayne,

I think your points are well-said. Having never formally studied the Bible, the Old Testament is particularly challenging for me as I try to read through the entire Bible (I'm in Judges at the moment). I'm excited about this product - I know it will help me better understand God's word!

God knows our hearts and why we do the work we do. Only He can judge us in our motivations, and I'm sure that our team's motivation is only to bring people closer to Him!

    Thanks for this post. :)

Excellent choice of works. When all is said and done, this is a long term investment in the Kingdom. This Bible will change lives for years to come, not just because it's different but because it's God breathed. All scripture is. That's what we're in the business of... not just publishing, but changing lives. Thanks for your heart, Wayne :)

Nice Job Wayne. I really appreciated your thoughts on this, and am actually looking forward to reading this version some myself!

I'm personally excited to own this version of the Bible. I have looked for a good chronological Bible for a long time and never found one. You're filling a void that I'm sure many others have experienced while looking at the massive shelves of Bibles at the local Christian book store. Thank you!

I was delighted to find that such a study aid existed and I am looking forward to obtaining a copy. Are there plans to release an NIV or NLT version?
