I am very excited and extremely proud of everyone on the team. The Voice New Testament shipped this past week and it looks (and more importantly it reads) fantastic. Wow.
I appreciate Chris Seay's original vision, the team's execution and especially Frank Couch's diligence, patience, skill and overall management of the project. I know it will bring people to Christ and bring people to God's word in a fresh and new way.
For those of you who don't know, the Voice is a new Bible translation. It began as a creative idea from Chris Seay and it brings the best of many artistic and scholar worlds together to create a thoroughly readable and interesting read through Holy Scriptures. It's not a paraphrase, but a true translation that richly captures the orignal author's "voice". The writers have also included additional helpful notes or sidebars that puts you, the reader, into the scene and experience of the New Testament and the story of Christ.
If you would like a review copy for a review, please let me know. I will send the first 100 of you a free copy and look forward to your Blog's review.

I have also been waiting for this release. We are close to starting a cultural church in sacramento with a lean towards the hot rod rebel crowd. We would love to review a copy. We want to use it for our messages.
I bought a copy of The Dust Off Their Feet and it is awsome.

I've heard a lot about this new translation. It sounds great to use for the non-religious crowd. I'm a race chaplain, and I would love to check out a copy to use in chapel at the races.

I have a copy of The Voice's Gospel of John and have had a lot of fun sharing parts of it with students. I'm a youth worker living in Dublin, Ireland serving both Irish students and European missionary kids. If you have any copies left for review I'd love to take part.
